Of course Davy&#39;s is known for their wine but the food was equally good.  We thought the food was superb.  The chili brocoli, the green beans with shallots, the linguine - were all full of flavour and tender,d the vegetables were left green.  The steak was truly the way I like it - (a rare thing in London), and the chips some of the best I&#39;ve had.  Really crispy with good oil, soft, hot and satisfying.  The welcome from staff was great - the waiter was a little cool and a little slow, however totally professional.  Neither of us like music while we eat and talk.  Thankfully the music was not overpowering and stayed like a small irritation in the background.  This place is a find, mainly because of the great location, the understated, ancient interior and the fantastic cooking.

A century-old brand, there are a lot of packages inside, the taste is also good, there are a lot of people at noon, and in the morning, they are all old British gentlemen who come to eat and slowly taste the food, and the boss will come out to say hello.

Delicious roast and excellent wine.  there were a few problems with our order which were resolved to our satisfaction. Great value for money, we will visit again when we are in the area.

Such a lovely venue and atmosphere, I&#39;ll definitely be back! Gorgeous food and drinks  and great service all around.

Lovely little place. Sat inside and were left alone quite a bit. Had the fish and chips and burger in our party which were both very good and tasty. Would go again and sit in the courtyard next time.

Excellent interior, wine list, menu and service. Lost a point on location as that&#39;s in a rather grimey part of Greenwich.
